About ATI

It began with a mother’s fear.

The idea began with a mother’s fear: her teenager had just wrecked while texting on his bike—and he was about to start driving. Systems existed to manage phone use behind the wheel, but none of them had a compliance aspect—no way to verify whether the rule was actually being followed. Ramona Alves, a U.S. Army veteran and telecommunications entrepreneur with over 45 years in the industry, saw that gap and fixed it. That question became the foundation of what is now ATI’s Presence Intelligence.

Ramona founded Alves Technical Innovations to build that idea into a platform. Her nephew, Johnathon Alves, joined as co-founder and CTO, leading the technical architecture and engineering that turned the concept into a working system.
